Job Description

```Duties```
  • Perform multiple entities non-profit bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to:
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Distributing payments as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records (filing and rotation storage)
  • Processing and recording financial transactions
  • Monitoring bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Quarterly and year-end reporting and closing procedures
  • Generating year-end donation statements
  • Collaborate with pastor and councils to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Processing new hire paperwork
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulation
  • Monitoring and researching facility upkeep needs. Presenting and following up with solutions. Escorting tradespeople to task areas and keeping records for future facility needs.
  • Mail sorting, phone answering, welcoming visitors ```Qualifications```
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting or related field required
  • Experience as Bookkeeper for non-profit or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with journal entries, debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Ability to work with trades and vendors necessary for ongoing operations of our facility
