Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing or industrial facility. This role is vital in ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate seamlessly to support production activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a passion for maintaining a safe and productive environment. Responsibilities Proactively manage the physical plant operation and maintenance of the entire school to include the definition and implementation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual facility maintenance plans and checklists to ensure all facility maintenance requirements are addressed in a proactive manner Manage setup, cleaning, and maintenance of the gym floor, bleachers, and stage area in accordance with specific events and activities Act as the primary contact with the school's facility support suppliers and ensure that suppliers are meeting the terms and conditions of any contracts Report any discrepancies to the supplier management team and the SCCS Director of Finance & Operations with remediation plans to address the discrepancies Respond to daily facility related requests from SCCS employees in a timely manner, addressing critical needs or emergencies with a sense of urgency Manage all facility maintenance within the constraints of the assigned budget Provide a weekly status of facility and vehicle maintenance accomplishments, plans, and issues to the SCCS Director of Finance & Operations Manage and support the development of specifications and help manage the bid process for outside contractual work Proactively manage the maintenance of the school's fleet of vehicles, keeping them safe and compliant with state regulations Develop, maintain, and report on all environmental, health, and maintenance standards as required by law Work with the administration to ensure compliance with all facility related regional, state, and federal regulations and laws as they impact the school Serve as the SCCS representative on facility projects when requested Develop and maintain a positive rapport with students, parents, and SCCS employees related to facility operations Proactively plan for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual facility needs consistent with school growth and the strategic plan.
Pay:
From $45,000.00 per year
