Facilities HVAC Supervisor Position Summary Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:30pm 100% based on-site in Greenville, NC Catalent's Greenville, N.C. facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. The Facilities HVAC Supervisor will oversee department-specific operations, including facilities, HVAC maintenance, preventive maintenance, calibration, project engineering, and facilities planning. This role will serve as the point of contact for outside HVAC and indirect support of production maintenance. The Role Oversight and ownership of the HVAC/R systems, which include all the various connected and separate electrical, mechanical, safety, etc. systems that are operational in a facility; to ensure that measures are taken to operate all specialized systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum Supervise, develop, coach, and train technicians in the maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems and utility equipment. Possess and provide SME level of knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, steam, and water treatment systems Provide direction of site manufacturing and facility operations, specifically relating to HVAC/R systems Oversee work to modify existing mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems to incorporate building system changes and provide engineering support to resolve interruption issues to process HVAC/R equipment and building controls infrastructure Lead response to emergency situations and alarms, summoning additional assistance as needed, and coordinate work with other departments to minimize downtime; perform installations, modifications, repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibrations Lead and drive systematic problem-solving efforts for HVAC events and casualties. Develop budgets and spending direction to achieve reliable service at maximum value to the site. Oversee execution of HEPA certification and testing for routine events and provide assistance for shutdown and annual certification process. Review required documentation and ensure certification documentation is approved for inclusion in maintenance records. Other duties assigned.
