Overview The Facility Coordinator supports the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of US Conec's manufacturing facility by coordinating maintenance activities, vendor services, and facility improvements. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, EHS, Engineering, and external contractors to ensure the plant environment aligns with production needs and long-term growth. Responsibilities Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and compressed air Ensure facility systems operate reliably with minimal impact to manufacturing operations Maintain facility organization, layout, and housekeeping standards aligned with 5S principles Perform and document facility preventive maintenance and verification activities Support compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations Partner with area managers and EHS leadership to ensure proper PPE availability, usage, and maintenance Identify, assess, and mitigate facility-related safety risks impacting employees or equipment Conduct powered industrial truck (forklift) training, including classroom and hands-on evaluations Review plans and specifications for new equipment to confirm safety and regulatory compliance Coordinate with city officials and inspectors to maintain permits, certifications, and occupancy requirements Schedule, oversee, and monitor third-party contractors and service providers Ensure vendors and contractors comply with US Conec safety standards and site requirements Develop and maintain facility space plans to support current and future operational needs Coordinate office and production floor moves, expansions, and layout updates Track, analyze, and report facility-related costs and performance metrics Support semi-annual facility budgeting and cost control initiatives Process purchase orders, invoices, and service requests accurately and timely Maintain maintenance logs, compliance documentation, and facility records Support emergency preparedness planning and respond to facility-related incidents and disruptions Must Haves Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical or engineering background preferred 3+ years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude Working knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Nice to Haves Experience supporting EHS programs in a regulated manufacturing environment Forklift trainer or powered industrial truck certification experience Exposure to space planning, layout design, or facility expansion projects Experience coordinating with municipal inspectors or regulatory agencies What We Offer Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential 4 weeks of PTO Health, dental, and vision plans 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match and planning resources Collaborative, team-based culture that fuels innovation Paid time off, holidays, and employee recognition programs celebrating your achievements Community engagement and STEM outreach opportunities to give back locally US Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
