GENERAL SUMMARY
The Director of Facilities, in accordance with established policies and procedures, is responsible for overseeing the care and maintenance of all aspects of the physical plant; including maintaining an effective preventative maintenance program; the hiring, training and supervising of all plant personnel; the coordinating of life safety and security programs; the procuring of supplies, material and equipment, and assisting with budget preparation and operating within budgetary guidelines. All duties are performed in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and local ordinances. This position warrants a company provided Data Plan to employee. We offer excellent pay and benefits to part-time and full-time staff. QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be a strategic and forward-thinking leader who excels at setting priorities, delegating effectively, and planning for both short and long term success. This role requires a visionary mindset, with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities, drive key initiatives, and align business objectives with sustainable strategies. Ability to monitor and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to maximize long term value. 2. Technical knowledge and a minimum of five years experience in all aspects of facility operations/maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, general maintenance, emergency generators, domestic water systems, etc.). 3. Experience with low voltage systems; preventative maintenance software programs and asset replacement. 4. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required. 5. B.S. degree in mechanical engineering required with thorough knowledge of plant operations and engineering. B.S. degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical is preferred. 6. Minimum of three years supervisory experience with a track record of leadership and team development. Experience and ability to prepare and manage budgets. 7. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. 8. Ability to effectively communicate with and respond to questions from the leadership team, managing partners, members, and the general public. 9. Previous experience in the health care field and/or with the older adult population preferred. Knowledge of Security and Life Safety programs and MSDS training also preferred. 10. Valid and active Driver license issued from any State and a good driving record. 11. Successful completion of Cypress of Raleigh golf cart training.
