Job Summary:
Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities | Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs | Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance Impact of the
Role:
General Profile Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline Performs routine assignments using existing procedures Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles Entry level to a professional career progression Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment
Essential Functions:
Responsible for ensuring that buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained and functioning properly. On a day-to-day basis, oversees basic maintenance to ensure property is in good condition. Troubleshoots and performs repairs or may coordinate maintenance with outside contractors.
Required Qualifications:
Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major:
Facilities, Maintenance or related preferred Knowledge, skills & abilities: Facility maintenance and coordination. Preventative maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. May need to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements:
No or very little travel likely.
