We're looking for someone to lead this growth in the new position of General Manager over our expanding New Hampshire manufacturing facility. PICA Manufacturing Solutions (PMS), a long standing leader in electronics manufacturing, is doubling down, expanding its U.S. footprint, investing heavily in new capacity and winning new business from customers who want a trusted, long-term American manufacturing partner. This role will put you at the center of that growth. PMS is a profitable, fast-growing contract electronics manufacturer headquartered in New Hampshire, with manufacturing in Derry, NH and Malaysia as well as both domestic and international sourcing offices. With more than 30 years of profitable operations, PMS has shown the importance of quality, reliability, a winning corporate culture and customer service in building its business. From its roots in flex circuitry, PICA now provides PCBs, flex, full buildout, and related electronic interconnect solutions to demanding markets including medical, automotive, industrial, communications, wearables, biosensors, and defense and security applications. The company is experiencing strong growth in its Malaysian manufacturing operations and seeks to replicate that growth through investment and new leadership focused on revenues from US electronics manufacturing and related services. And as a family-run company, PMS prides itself on integrity, entrepreneurship, collegiality, and low-ego collaboration. The average employee tenure at the company is among the longest in the industry, a profound reflection of the culture the PMS leadership has built. The opportunity PMS is now planning to double the size of its Derry manufacturing floor from approximately 8,000 to roughly 16,000 square feet and is adding new equipment to increase the number of lines. We've already started the expansion of the staff team to manage this new capacity. The General Manager will take over the helm guiding this expansion, which is already in progress, and use it as a foundation for sustained, profitable growth by expanding the company's U.S
  • based manufacturing business, including ITAR-related opportunities, NPI work in conjunction with the company's Malaysian manufacturing site, and other new business.
You will:
Build and execute the strategic plan for US customer growth, from operations to sales to marketing, finance and beyond Own the revenue growth and contribution margins for the Derry operation Continue the facility expansion project, from buildout and ITAR registration to equipment decisions to effective utilization of added capacity Build and execute the revenue expansion plan for the Derry site, including account strategy, lead generation, and joint work with the PMS global sales organization as well as dedicated resources Grow the PMS brand, awareness, market positioning and presence among customers that require U.S. and ITAR-registered manufacturing, and help capture reshoring-driven demand Lead and develop the Derry team

  • to deliver throughput, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Own the Derry budget, working with corporate finance to manage performance to plan and to the bottom line Serve as a key member of the PMS executive team and as a culture carrier for the "PICA way."   • ideally 10 years or more
  • in contract electronics manufacturing Deep knowledge of SMT and PCB manufacturing processes Background that combines commercial and operational strength: P&L and site leadership are ideal, but this can also be a step-up role for an exceptional business development, financial or operations leader with deep experience in the field Strategic mindset and experience building plans for meaningful revenue expansion (go-to-market, financial and operational planning) Experience with defense/ITAR or industries actively reshoring manufacturing to the U.
S. is a major plus A hands-on, visible, low-ego leader who is comfortable on the floor and in the boardroom, communicates clearly with customers and executives, and builds strong teams and culture College degree required (field flexible); advanced business or technical degrees are a plus. Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO
