Job Description

PDQ Restoration - Boonton, NJ Full-time | Monday-Friday | In person Do you take pride in keeping a shop, equipment, trucks, and workspaces clean, organized, and ready to go? PDQ Restoration is looking for a dependable, hands-on Facilities Coordinator to help keep our restoration company running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, good with tools, comfortable around trucks and equipment, and willing to take ownership of the condition of our shop, supplies, facility, and equipment. This is not a desk-only role. The right person will be comfortable cleaning, organizing, inspecting equipment, helping load trucks, tracking supplies, and making sure our teams have what they need before they head out to job sites. Schedule This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. The first 30 days will likely be 8:00 AM-5:00 PM for training and onboarding. After that, the schedule may shift to better support operations, possibly 6:00 AM-3:00 PM or 10:00 AM-7:00 PM , depending on company needs. Core Responsibilities Clean, inspect, maintain, and organize shop equipment so it is ready for deployment Perform minor equipment repairs and identify items that need service Help keep trucks and truck supplies stocked, organized, and ready for crews Track supplies, PPE, cleaning products, consumables, and inventory levels Reorder or communicate supply needs before stockouts occur Maintain cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, trash areas, workshop, shop space, and grounds Help load and unload trucks as needed Organize the shop and storage areas Track what equipment is available, out on jobs, or in need of repair Support day-to-day facility needs and general operational tasks Eventually help coordinate vendors for facility needs such as snow removal, HVAC, overhead doors, pest control, landscaping, repairs, and equipment service The 5 Major Responsibilities of This Role Shop equipment maintained and ready for deployment Trucks and truck supplies organized and ready for deployment Offices, bathrooms, grounds, and shop areas cleaned and maintained Supply inventory properly tracked and managed Vendor relationships and facility services coordinated as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to our shop in Boonton, NJ Comfortable using basic tools and handling minor repairs Experience with equipment cleaning, care, repair, or maintenance Strong cleaning ability and willingness to maintain high standards Organized with excellent attention to detail Basic computer knowledge Comfortable working around trucks, loading supplies, and moving equipment Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and carry throughout the day Reliable, hardworking, and willing to be part of a team Preferred Qualifications Project management experience Vendor management experience Experience in restoration, construction, warehouse, facilities, maintenance, or operations Lean Six Sigma or similar operations/organization knowledge Forklift certification or willingness to become certified Benefits Competitive hourly pay Minimum 40 hours per week Health insurance available after 3 months 401(k) available after 6 months Paid company holidays Accrued vacation time Paid training On-the-job training Safety equipment provided Cell phone reimbursement, if applicable Opportunity for growth as the role develops
