The role requires overseeing maintenance, compliance, and operational readiness of our fleet assets, company equipment, and facility safety and maintenance. The position is responsible for ensuring that company vehicles, trailers, material handling equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner while supporting operational efficiency and business growth. The ideal candidate must be tech savvy, highly organized, and comfortable working with trucks, trailers, chassis, box trucks, telematics, GPS/camera platforms, and databases. This role requires practical knowledge of trucking equipment, truck and trailer mechanisms, preventive maintenance, repair coordination, DOT regulations, inspections, and transportation compliance procedures . Key Responsibilities Maintain and update our company equipment database to ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting. Oversee maintenance, repairs, and inspection of trucks, trailers, chassis, and other equipment to ensure daily readiness. Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program to reduce breakdowns and control repair costs. Ensure DOT compliance, including maintaining inspection records, maintenance documentation, and required equipment-related compliance items. Review fleet fuel usage, EZ Pass activity, and related charges for accuracy and cost control. Manage approved vendors and oversee cost effectiveness of equipment repairs. Review and approve equipment, maintenance, and facility related invoices with attention to detail. Work with drivers to improve equipment inspections, reporting, and accountability. Monitor fleet activity, GPS, cameras, and equipment status through various technology platforms. Support equipment related insurance claims when needed. Coordinate facility needs with management, including security systems, cameras, alarms, access control, garbage disposal, and general maintenance. Provide after-hours support for urgent equipment, breakdown, facility, or security related issues.

$65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
