Job Description:
We're supporting a search for our European banking client's New York office to fill this Facilities & Real Estate Management role. This position oversees data centers, BCM sites, and overall operational facilities, ensuring seamless and compliant day-to-day operations across multiple functions.
Position Summary:
Primary responsibility is the oversight and coordination of Real Estate and Operational facilities management for our European banking client's New York office. Ensures that the facility, including its data centers, BCM sites and associated equipment, run safely, efficiently and smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Exercises managerial responsibility for Real Estate, Building Services and Office and Support Services including: Organization for Data Center facilities and its real estate operation in a prudent and ethical manner. Develops / implements strategies and business plans consistent with local management and the Global Functional Lead's objectives to provide intelligent solutions to clients and to ensure compliance with the bank's standards. Project management of real estate and facilities management projects. COI Process when needed Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of Real Estate and Building Services. Oversight of various vendors that directly manage the following facilities operations and tasks:
HVAC:
Mechanical Generator and cooling tower maintenance and Inspection Electrical UPS Maintenance Electrical Infrared Test BMS Systems operation Fire Systems Radio and Fire Warden coordination Additional infrastructure oversight Cleaning and custodial services Light replacement Office maintenance and repairs Desk and location placement Rent processing Facilities management financial controlling Physical security backup Quarterly reporting to headquarters Coordination with internal and external auditors Experience /
Qualifications/Education:
Minimum 10 years of professional experience Strong customer service focus, budgeting and communication skills required Strong business systems knowledge Proficiency with safety and compliance Strong organizational skills Relevant professional certifications are a plus but not required: Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP)
