Qualifications Plumbing Construction Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Director of Facilities is responsible for the planning, direction, and oversight of all physical plant operations, maintenance, and infrastructure projects across Beacon facilities. This position ensures that all buildings and systems support a safe, compliant, and healing environment for individuals, staff, and visitors. The Director will lead teams responsible for maintenance, environmental compliance, and facility improvements, ensuring all operations meet regulatory standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Maintenance Team Primary Responsibilities:
Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. Responsible for the hire and supervision of maintenance employees. Negotiates contracts and monitors contractors providing maintenance services. Reviews and prioritizes work orders. Maintains building parking lots and walking surfaces to ensure safety. Continually monitors air quality to meet BSLS environmental standards. Responsible for the coordination of utility contracts to maintain, inspect and repair utility system components timely. Monitor utility usage and review high utility costs. Complete water supply bacterial and chemical testing. Monitors the use of chemicals as well as ensures proper disposal and storage. Ensures up to date SDS guidelines and OSHA compliance. Maintain and replace house furniture and appliances as needed to ensure ADA requirements. Monitors and regulates facilities temperature levels.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 5 years of experience in facilities management. Working knowledge of plumbing, heating / cooling, water and building constructions.
