We're seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Supervisor to lead the planning, maintenance, and improvement of our beautiful Church grounds, offices and preschool in Albuquerque's NE heights. Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It Keeps our facilities humming, sparkling, and running smoothly - Oversees the daily operations of the facility. Supervises maintenance and custodial operations including hiring, scheduling, training and coordinating everything that needs to be done. We have 6 full time and 3 part time employees to support you. Manages and coordinates the repair of all things fixable (and some things that shouldn't have broken in the first place). Manages relationships with vendors and contractors. Arranges setups for meetings and special events like a logistics wizard. Owns safety procedures like a true guardian of the workplace. Helps us be greener, leaner, and meaner (in the eco-friendly, highly efficient sense). Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Leads office moves, space planning and spearheads improvement projects. Implements sustainability and energy-saving initiatives where applicable. Conducts regular inspections and audits of facilities. Creates documented standardized operating procedures for the routine departmental tasks. Able to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with on-call availability in case of emergency. Handles emergencies with calm, cool expertise—and maybe a few jokes. Required Superpowers 4+ years of facilities management experience (with references). You speak fluent Maintenance, Safety and Budget. Supervisory experience. Comfort with tools, tech, and maybe a ladder or two. Able to use a computer, including email. You don't panic when something goes thud . Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and groundskeeping). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously.
