Job Description

Posting Details Operating under the jurisdiction of the New Mexico Department of Health and located on the campus of the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute, Meadows is a 162 dually certified Nursing Home offering long term and short term stays. We offer Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. This posting will be used for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time. Applicant lists may be screened more than once. Why does the job exist? This position works closely with Meadows Administration to ensure positive outcomes for the residents of Meadows, grow our census and, maintain regulatory compliance. How does it get done? Clinical oversight, Direct patient care, Quality and safety, staff supervision, policy development, facilitate collaboration between the various disciplines and, be a part of the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement committee. Who are the customers? Meadows Long Term Care residents Ideal Candidate Meadows Long Term Care residents Minimum Qualification Requires a license to practice medicine in New Mexico and Psychiatrist, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, or Emergency Medicine Board Certification. Must possess an active controlled substance license and DEA registration in New Mexico. Employment Requirements Must possess a valid Drivers License Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate 1.

POSITIONS--This position ls designated as safely sensitive. Employment Is subject to pre-employment and random testing. CRIMINAL RECORDS BACKGROUND
CHECK-Must successfully complete post offer pre-employment criminal records background check. Employment is conditional pending the results of criminal records background checks. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Working Conditions Position will preform work primarily in an office setting with extensive computer and phone usage exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT). Work hours are 8am to 5pm.
