Facilities Operations Manager Holtsville, NY Manage Mechanical Maintenance at IRS Facility with LB&B Associates Inc. LB&B Associates Inc. is a trusted provider of facility management services, dedicated to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee in-house operations and mechanical maintenance at the IRS facility in Holtsville, NY.
Position Overview:
As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will direct daily operations, supervise maintenance teams, and ensure the reliable performance of all mechanical systems within the facility. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and serves as a key liaison between staff, management, and clients.
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of five years out of the last 7 years experience managing large facility mechanical maintenance of similar size, scope, and complexity as the IRS facilityStrong leadership and organizational skillsProven ability to coordinate multiple projects and teamsExcellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Summary of Responsibilities:
Manage and direct in-house building engineering, skilled trades, and general maintenance staff and assign tasksMonitor, inspect, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systemsEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement preventative maintenance schedulesManage budgets and procurement of necessary materials

Respond promptly to facility emergencies and resolve issues efficientlyTrain and mentor maintenance team membersCoordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspectionsFoster a safe, clean, and productive work environmentManage subcontractors and various repair and alteration projects.
