Jericho, New York, United States Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Jericho, New York. Overview The facilities manager will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of retail bank facilities, overseeing operations, maintenance, and service delivery to meet client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Support the senior facilities manager and account lead in implementing short and long-term goals and projects.
Develop and implement programs, processes, and procedures to reduce operating costs.
Complete facilities inspections and reports accurately and punctually.
Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Lead facilities staff to deliver service within budget expectations.
Assist in developing and implementing annual management plans for the buildings.
Oversee development and management of capital and expense budgets, interfacing with client representatives.
Maintain client satisfaction through responsiveness and effective interface with real estate and facilities teams.
Recommend capital improvements and prepare operating budget reports, forecasts, and variance reports.
Follow performance plans and accomplish key performance indicators as per agreements.
Share best practices and innovations in facilities management.
Manage contractors on site, ensuring policy compliance and quality service delivery.
Supervise overall service delivery, safety, and compliance in line with client and company policies.
Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities management.
5+ years of industry experience in retail facilities, preferably banking.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience managing both technical and administrative staff.
Proficient in MS programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Computer proficiency in CMMS systems.
Ability to manage a portfolio of sites primarily located in the NYC/Long Island, NY area. We thank all applicants for their interest.
