Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Part time Facilities Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment. The position requires a blend of organizational skills, customer service, and technical expertise to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within office spaces.
  • Respond promptly to work order requests, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and meet set performance metrics.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and conference room usage, providing necessary support as needed.
  • Manage reception duties, including welcoming guests and managing building access passes.
  • Oversee mail and courier handling, ensuring timely deliveries and organized distribution.
  • Maintain and monitor office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Liaise with landlords and building management to address facility-related concerns and coordinate access.
  • Provide support for safety and security measures, ensuring compliance with protocols.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and manage facility operations.
  • Adapt to additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the evolving needs of the sites.
