Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kid's Play Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our children's play facility. This role is crucial in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children to learn and play. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with children, and a passion for childhood development. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and creating enriching programs that support the growth and development of all children utilizing our facility. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the play facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children. Develop and implement engaging programs that promote physical, social, and emotional development. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality care and education. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary. Collaborate with staff and parents to create individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities. Conduct regular assessments of the facility's programs and make improvements as needed. Organize events and activities that encourage family involvement in the facility. Skill Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or similar environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Background in teaching, caregiving, or classroom management will be prioritized. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to create a positive learning environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for nurturing children's growth through play-based learning experiences. Time Requirements Our facility opens at 10:00am Tuesday through Sunday, meaning schedule dependent, weekday mornings and weekend time will be required for this position year-round. Weekend availability will be required for this position year-round.

$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
