Facilities Manager Confidential Syracuse, NY Job Details Full-time $70,000 a year 22 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Balance sheet creation Income statement preparation Maintenance work Property maintenance Expense reports Facility management Cash flow statement preparation Pro forma statement preparation Full Job Description A large established not-for-profit within the suburbs of Syracuse is in search of a Facilities Manager who will oversee the operations, maintenance and safety of our physical property and grounds. The Facilities Manager position is a full-time position that reports directly to the Executive Director of the Organization. This role balances budgeting, project management, and daily administrative support.
Responsibilities include:
Maintains and oversees all outside contractors and services for the organization
  • including lawn care, landscaping, trash removal, garbage collection, pool opening/closing, etc. Supervisor of department staff
  • including daytime and evening janitorial and maintenance teams. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects. Maintains both inside and outside structures
  • including playgrounds and group areas outside the building. Acts as the general contractor for all major construction projects for the property. Manage the upkeep of the physical structures
  • including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
Conduct regular facility inspections to guarantee adherence to safety, accessibility and all codes. Source, negotiate and monitor all service contracts with external vendors. Create and monitor the facilities budgets, including operating costs and major equipment repair. General understanding of Asbestos and has the ability to update and recertify annually for the organization. Oversees the maintenance of company vehicles
  • includes scheduling of preventative maintenance, scheduling of repair work, registration and appropriate New York State paperwork. Responsible for making sure all licenses and permits are up to date. Position is on call 24/7, 365 days per year
  • responsibilities can be shares with the department Assistant Director.

$70,000.00 per year
