We're looking for a full-time Facilities Coordinator to join Team Mavis at our corporate office in White Plains, NY. With over 2,000 retail locations throughout the United States, Mavis is the fifth-largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States. About the Position of Facilities Coordinator As a member of the Facilities Department, a Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating & tracking the repair and maintenance duties & requests to keep the growing retail store portfolio efficient, operating, and maintained to a high standard. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating Facilities services in a timely and cost-effective manner, including general repairs and maintenance, construction, relocations, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cabling, security/alarm systems, utilities, painting, patching, pest control, janitorial, signage, and furniture/equipment replacements and set-ups.
- Monitors Commit Service Desk tickets related to retail store operations ensuring prompt follow-ups and seeing through to completion.
- Coordinates and collaborates with regional operations managers and store managers to identify the facility needs and obtains necessary details to develop proper solutions and identify vendors for implementation.
- Coordinates and obtains proposals/quotes from vendors based on store needs and negotiates for the best value. Issues PO's and ensures and validates payments.
- Organizes, schedules, and documents work activities in close coordination with vendors and internal management following up on progress and verify completion.
- Works to identify cost-effective solutions in all activities while maintaining quality and timeliness
- Coordinates with store managers, landlords, and vendors as needed maintaining positive relationships
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
