This is a managerial role responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, setting priorities, and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, with strong knowledge of Conair systems and pneumatic equipment, combined with proven leadership capability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage the Maintenance Department, including maintenance technicians and support staff Establish department goals, assign work, prioritize repairs, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities Oversee maintenance of all plant facilities and systems, including: Pneumatic and compressed air systems HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building infrastructure Conair material handling and auxiliary equipment Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs Troubleshoot complex equipment and facility issues to minimize downtime Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital improvement projects Coordinate and supervise outside vendors, contractors, and service providers Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations Partner with Production, Engineering, and Leadership to support operational goals Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, safety, and cost control Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience managing a maintenance team or department Strong working knowledge of Conair systems and pneumatics/compressed air systems Broad technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial facility systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents Proven leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Technical degree, trade certification, or equivalent experience Experience in plastics, extrusion, or industrial manufacturing CMMS experience and preventive maintenance planning Budgeting and capital project management experience What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Stable, team-focused manufacturing environment Leadership role with direct impact on plant performance
