Competitive Salary Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Contribution Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Professional Growth & Advancement Opportunities Collaborative Leadership Team Position Overview A growing multi-state behavioral healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Facilities to oversee facility operations, maintenance, construction projects, and capital improvements across multiple locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring all facilities remain safe, compliant, fully operational, and supportive of high-quality care delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in multi-site facilities management, construction oversight, vendor management, and operational leadership within a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Facilities Operations & Maintenance Oversee daily operations and maintenance across multiple facilities Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs Ensure timely response and resolution of facility-related issues Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and life safety systems Manage work order processes and prioritize operational needs Construction & Capital Projects Lead construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects from planning through completion Manage project timelines, budgets, vendors, and deliverables Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and inspectors Monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met Oversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities Vendor & Contractor Management Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and service providers Review bids, contracts, and service agreements Ensure vendors meet expectations for quality, scope, and timelines Maintain strong relationships with external partners and contractors Safety, Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards Oversee facility security systems, access controls, and environmental safety procedures Support inspections, audits, and corrective action initiatives Identify and mitigate facility-related risks across all locations Leadership & Collaboration Supervise and support facilities and maintenance staff Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards Collaborate with executive leadership and operational teams Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related operational needs Financial Management Develop and manage facility and capital budgets Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) 5-10+ years of progressive facilities, maintenance, or construction management experience Experience overseeing multi-site operations strongly preferred Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and construction processes Experience managing vendors, contractors, and capital improvement projects Knowledge of safety standards, compliance regulations, and facility inspections Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to travel between locations as needed About the Organization This organization provides specialized behavioral health and supportive services across multiple locations and is committed to maintaining safe, high-quality environments for both staff and the individuals served.
