Job Description

Facilities Supervisor Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operation of multiple high-profile facilities and venues. This individual will lead a team of 5-6 maintenance professionals while serving as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and facility-related projects. The ideal candidate is a "jack-of-all-trades" with strong mechanical aptitude and a solid background in HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems. While this role is supervisory in nature, the individual must be comfortable troubleshooting issues, inspecting equipment, accessing rooftops and mechanical spaces, and working alongside the maintenance team when needed. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of facilities and maintenance staff across multiple locations. Coordinate and oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance activities. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors. Escort vendors through facilities and provide access to rooftops, mechanical rooms, electrical closets, and other building systems. Evaluate maintenance proposals, review invoices, and ensure vendor work aligns with contractual agreements. Participate in contract negotiations and vendor selection processes. Utilize and manage facility work order systems (Corrigo or similar platforms). Respond to facility issues including leaks, mechanical failures, and other building-related concerns. Ensure preventative maintenance programs are executed effectively. Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards. Top Qualifications Strong trade background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical systems. Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service agreements. Experience working in large campus or multi-building environments such as universities, hospitals, or similar facilities. Nice to Have Experience with facility management systems (Corrigo or similar).
Compensation Salary range:
$65,000 - $75,000 Work Environment On-site role Large-scale, multi-building facilities environment
