Job Description
We are a long-term care pharmacy currently seeking qualified applicants for a Facility Billing Coordinator position. Prior pharmacy billing experience is preferred but not required.
Job Duties:
Processes and reviews unbilled script reports, making corrections as needed before facility bills are processed Meets individual facility billing needs as requested by facility Reviews private pay and facility statements for accuracy and makes corrections as needed Resolves questions from facilities regarding monthly statements Closes and posts monthly billing to facilities within required timeframe Prepares all electronic billing to facilities as requested Processes credits to facility bills
Requirements:
8:30 am-5:15 pm are the standard hours Must have flexibility to work overtime and/or the weekend at the close of each monthly billing cycle as necessary. 3-5 years direct work experience in business or a health related field, pharmacy preferred Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Third Party Insurance benefits Must be able to learn new concepts quickly and work well in a team environment Working knowledge of Excel Strong customer service skills Framework Pharmacy software knowledge is a plus
