Job Description

Position Summary The Facility Improvement Manager is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance operations, managing improvements to manufacturing areas, and ensuring optimal performance of production equipment. This role includes supervision of CNC operations, coordination of machine repairs, implementation of tooling upgrades, and leadership of strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily facility maintenance and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and supervise CNC machining area.
  • Develop and lead facility-related company strategy aligned with operational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) across maintenance and manufacturing areas.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
  • Diagnose and oversee machine repairs and work with technicians and vendors.
  • Lead tooling upgrades and process improvements to enhance production performance.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Maintain documentation on maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with machine repair, troubleshooting, and tooling systems.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
