$22. 00 - $28 per hour (based on experience) Expected Hours Approximately 20 hours per week during most of the year, increasing to approximately 35 hours per week during the peak holiday season (September-January). About Blue Chip Cookies Blue Chip Cookies has been baking premium cookies since 1983. We are known for our scratch-made recipes, premium ingredients, and nationwide gifting business. Our Milford facility serves as both a production bakery and fulfillment center supporting retail, corporate gifting, and e-commerce operations. We are seeking a hands-on Facility & Production Manager to oversee bakery operations, production planning, quality standards, inventory management, and food safety. Position Summary The Facility & Production Manager is responsible for ensuring the bakery operates efficiently, safely, and consistently. This individual will oversee production planning, ingredient inventory, quality control, sanitation, and facility readiness while helping prepare the business for seasonal growth. This position is not responsible for order fulfillment, shipping, or customer service. The primary focus is cookie bakery operations and production excellence. Responsibilities Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules Oversee dough production and baking operations Ensure product consistency and adherence to Blue Chip quality standards Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance Manage ingredient, packaging, and supply inventories Coordinate ordering and vendor relationships as needed Train and support bakery team members Monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs Develop production plans for seasonal and holiday demand Reduce waste and improve operational efficiency Maintain a clean, organized, and professional production environment Support continuous improvement of bakery systems and processes Cake production and decorating. Qualifications Commercial cookie baking, food production, or bakery management experience preferred Experience managing production schedules and inventory Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, Certification a plus. Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to work independently, many time only owner and you there, and prioritize effectively Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment during holiday.
