Job Description

We're looking for a driven, organized, and customer-focused professional to join our team in a dual-role position supporting both facility operations and event rental growth. Position Overview This role combines day-to-day sports facility management with business development and execution for special events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable balancing operations, customer service, and sales. Key ResponsibilitiesSports Facility Management Deliver a high level of customer service while ensuring leagues, programs, and daily operations run smoothly Open and close the facility; supervise and support part-time staff Oversee programming, including league management, scheduling, and event support Coordinate event setup, breakdown, and facility cleanliness Assist with recruiting, training, and managing part-time and student staff Support daily cash handling and basic financial operations Serve as a point of contact for players and families, including payments and program inquiries Maintain and update social media channels and assist with marketing efforts Coordinate facility maintenance and upkeep with leadership Perform general housekeeping and custodial duties as needed Special Events & Sportsplex Rentals Identify new business opportunities and develop leads for event rentals Build relationships with prospective customers and introduce rental offerings Assist clients in selecting appropriate rental equipment and services Coordinate and execute event setups and breakdowns Perform deliveries and pickups for rental equipment Support on-site event operations to ensure successful execution Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable handling administrative, operational, and customer-facing responsibilities Basic understanding of sports facility operations and equipment preferred Ability to build relationships with customers, families, and community partners Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Preferred Background Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Sports Management, Recreation, Business, or a related field Experience in a sports facility, event operations, or soccer environment is a plus Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting What We Offer Competitive pay Health benefits Paid time off (PTO)
