Facility Manager Lead a Team. Make a Difference. Help Keep Kids Moving. Community Bus Services is looking for an energetic, people-focused Facility Manager to lead one of our transportation facilities and help ensure students get to and from school safely every day. This isn't your typical operations management role. As a Facility Manager, you'll lead a team of drivers, attendants, dispatchers, trainers, and maintenance personnel while helping create a positive, supportive environment for both employees and the students we serve. What You'll Do As the leader of the facility, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy school transportation terminal, including: Leading and developing a team of drivers, attendants, dispatchers, and support staff Creating a positive, safety-focused culture where employees can thrive Managing daily transportation operations to ensure safe and on-time service Building strong relationships with school district partners, parents, and community stakeholders Conducting team meetings, coaching sessions, and employee development activities Monitoring routes, staffing levels, attendance, and operational performance Overseeing driver training, compliance, and qualification records Managing payroll review, scheduling, reporting, and facility administration Investigating incidents and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations Coordinating special events, field trips, and community engagement activities Leading employee recognition programs and fun team-building events throughout the year What Makes This Role Special At Community Bus Services, we don't just transport students—we help shape positive experiences for thousands of children every day. Loves working with and supporting people Has strong leadership and team-building skills Can stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing employees Is highly organized and detail-oriented Has excellent communication and customer service skills Understands the importance of safety and accountability Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, operations, or a related field Valid Ohio Class B CDL with School Bus, Passenger, and Air Brake endorsements (or ability to obtain) Strong knowledge of transportation operations and safety practices Clean driving and background record Ability to pass required drug screening and physical qualifications Why Join Community Bus Services?
