Job Description

The Casino Facilities Supervisor is responsible for managing facility maintenance activities and leading a team of maintenance employees in a fast-paced casino environment. This role oversees maintenance schedules, project execution, preventive maintenance programs, and safety compliance while supporting the operational needs of the property. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with hands-on technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
Safety Sensitive Position :
This position is designated as safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing requirements. A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or, for current employees, termination of employment, including positive tests for marijuana, regardless of possession of a valid medical marijuana license.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Experience using and maintaining hand tools, corded power tools, and cordless power tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying conditions, including exposure to weather, smoke, bright lights, and loud noise.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Supervise and assign daily maintenance work to meet facility needs.
  • Oversee and track preventive maintenance programs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inspect maintenance work and renovation projects to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of completed work.
  • Order equipment, tools, and materials for repairs and future projects.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Respond to on-call maintenance requests and emergency situations as needed.
  • Perform maintenance duties and assist team members when necessary.
  • Provide leadership, training, and performance feedback to maintenance staff, including input on hiring and disciplinary decisions.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
