Job Description

At Jacobs, we partner with our clients to drive innovation and long-term growth by planning, managing, and delivering complex facility modernization programs that enhance operations and support evolving mission needs. We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee the Jacobs team delivering services including owner's consultant, progressive design-build delivery guidance; design and code compliance review; estimating; third-party commissioning; special inspection and material testing; and construction quality assurance. You'll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple facility projects within the program scope, which includes the construction of a new control center (currently underway). In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day administration of the OC contract while leading and supporting OC staff and consultants. You'll be responsible for managing contract deliverables and providing strong technical leadership to the Jacobs team to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Jacobs team delivering OC scope of services for new and ongoing projects. Lead the overall OC program strategy, aligning with the client's goals and objectives. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams. Monitoring the program master schedule, budget, and risk management plan. Provide procurement strategy guidance to the client. Provide guidance on progressive design-build delivery best practices. Ensure compliance with the client's procurement regulations. Participate in lessons learned reviews at the program level. Support Guaranteed Maximum Price negotiations. Implement and monitor safety protocols in compliance with client requirements. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and client sponsors. Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects within the program. Provide forwarding thinking leadership anticipating the Client's future needs ensuring Jacobs is poised to support the Client. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 15+ years of experience in project management, with current experience in program management Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build project experience Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale facilities projects. Federal contract experience. Experience negotiating and managing Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts. Strong understanding of alternative project delivery methods. Strong understanding of progressive design-build methodology and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
