EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND FACILITIES
, Alumni Association (AA) and Resource Development (RD ), will provide strategic and operational leadership for financial management, administrative services, and facilities across AA and RD; be accountable for aligning financial strategy, facilities infrastructure, and financial resource planning with Institute and departmental priorities; advise executive leadership on financial implications of strategic decisions, bringing a forward-looking, data-informed perspective; serve as the senior advisor on financial, administrative and facilities matters, leading long-range planning, ensuring effective stewardship of resources, and driving continuous improvement in financial management and facilities operations; directs a team of administrative and support staff; and be accountable for organization design, talent management and development of the finance and facilities team. REQUIRED
: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of ten years of financial and administrative leadership experience, higher education or complex nonprofit environment preferred; demonstrated success leading financial strategy in complex organizations; proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional initiatives; strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities; be highly self-directed with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines; experience hiring, training, evaluating, professionally developing and performance managing team members; experience providing strategic direction to other senior leaders as well as direct reports; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels; and high degree of discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
PREFERRED
: Advanced degree; advanced Excel expertise (including pivot tables and complex workbooks); experience with SAP and BrioQuery or Cognos; familiarity with PowerPoint and presentation tools; and knowledge of fundraising operations and experience working with volunteers.
