Job Title:
Facilities Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join our team. The primary role involves supporting and coordinating a small team of multi-skilled operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop close working relationships with key stakeholders, landlords, managing agents, and facilities vendors. Responsibilities + Provide support for monitoring and coordinating a small team of multi-skilled operatives. + Develop close working relationships with key client stakeholders, landlords, managing agents, and facilities vendors. + Assist in managing all contractors on site to ensure they perform to the required standards. + Assist in procuring vendors and services as needed. + Participate in financial processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial management requirements. + Manage purchase orders accurately within the internal financial management platform. + Assist with monthly accrual reports and monitor finance trackers. + Conduct site inspections, assessments, regular audits, and carry out safety and building procedures. + Assist in implementing property risk management programs and industry best practices. + Maintain premises in neat and good working condition at all times. + Support the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. + Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures. + Provide support for regular management reports and projects as required. + Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets. Essential Skills + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Self-motivated with a confident and energetic attitude. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible. + Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. + Experience in work order systems is critical. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in a related field. + Clean driving record required. + Experience in facilities maintenance, customer service, and vendor management. + Experience in hospitality environments is advantageous. Work Environment This role is based on-site, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is potential for some remote work, though it will not be frequent. The workplace is located in a large facility, the second biggest location in the area, offering access to three different parking garages. Interviews will be conducted virtually, with likely two rounds, the second being in person. The role involves a significant amount of client-facing interactions and overseeing multiple locations in the Chicago area, as well as handling emails and requests. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
