The incumbent must have the ability to carry heavy equipment over rugged terrain for a long period of time. FOA1 positions perform unskilled physical work requiring limited or no training; may frequently work outdoors in inclement weather; may use hand tools and operate motor driven equipment and generally perform activities as part of a work crew. Experience using a chainsaw is desired but not necessary. Minimum QualificationsCandidates must be physically able to perform the duties assigned. Possession of a valid New York State driver's license may be required. Additional CommentsThis is a hourly appointment currently funded through 11/30/2026, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date. Must have a valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.
