Job Description:
Summary:
The part-time Office Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the office by ensuring a clean, organized, and fully functional workplace. This role handles shipping, office supply management, basic maintenance, meeting setup, and coordination with external vendors and building management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and proactive with a strong attention to detail. This position is from 9 AM - 1 PM (3 days per week), and is based in downtown Providence, RI.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all shipping and receiving, including domestic and international shipments Order, track, and maintain inventory of office supplies Purchase supplies as needed, including off-site shopping when required Stock office, kitchen, and shared area supplies, to ensure consistent availability Clean and maintain high-traffic areas daily, including conference rooms and kitchen spaces Perform miscellaneous handyman and light maintenance tasks as needed Receive, track, and coordinate maintenance requests with the landlord and/or external vendors Set up and break down rooms for meetings, town halls, and company events Assist with special projects and ad hoc facilities-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in office management, facilities, office operations, or a related role preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, moving furniture, and stocking supplies Basic handyman or maintenance skills a plus Comfortable coordinating with vendors, landlords, and internal teams Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to move supplies and furniture up to 50lbs. • Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical labor throughout the workday
