Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, the Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall operation of CCA properties that are owned and or leased. Provides project oversight and leadership for maintaining a safe environment at all locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Able and available to respond to respond to emergency calls and coordinate response. Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments Supervise and meet daily with Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate work tickets Communicate with external contractors and vendors Keep building and all facilities up to code. Follow maintenance protocols Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members Schedule routine maintenance inspections Monitor interior and exterior areas of buildings for cleanliness and general conservation, as well as, building cameras for security. Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures Support maintenance and installment work as needed Must have knowledge of fire apparatus inspections Any other assigned duties by supervisor Education, Experience and Qualifications Advanced mechanical and plumbing knowledge Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Excellent time management and multitasking skills Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles Great leadership and problem-solving skills Knowledge of fire codes Ability to work in all conditions not limited to standing, walking, heights, etc for long periods of time. Preferred qualifications Must possessat least five (5) years of Facilities experience in a supervisory role. Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent
