Since children's and family's needs are constantly changing, you must also be highly organized, flexible, and able to demonstrate strong customer service skills as well as teamwork. This is a leadership role-- your contributions will help shape children's lives. For this reason, the ideal candidate will have a true desire to grow in early childhood education. We are a creative and energetic center where everyday is unique and different. We are seeking a candidate with creative ideas and a passion to inspire children.

Responsibilities include:

Initiative to lead, follow, create, and implement curriculum on a daily basis. Create a safe, healthy, and welcoming learning environment with incredible customer service. Build supportive relationships and develop open lines of communication with staff, parents, and children. Supervise classroom activities and daily classes in a proactive, productive, and inspiring manner. Provide support to staff members with scheduling, leadership, inspiration, delegation, and teamwork. Ensure full compliance with Kids Garden standards and uphold the highest standards of care for children in our center.

Qualifications:

A bachelors degree and 6 months experience working with children in a licensed child care facility or Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field and 6 months experience working with children in a licensed child care facility. Hands-on teaching or leadership experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding organizational abilities Must be at least 21 years old May be eligible for an additional bonus out each quarter (eligible after 6 months) May be eligible for free or reduced childcare at the facility This position is for an afternoon director working 1-5pm daily/full time.
