Job Description
SE Retail is seeking a Facility & Electrical Manager to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY
Oversees the team responsible for maintenance, safety, and functionality of the company's buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Develops and improves manufacturing & electrical processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Drives the sourcing strategic initiatives to ensure optimal cost, productivity, fulfillment, and life-cycle management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:Maintenance and Repairs:
Inspects and maintains building infrastructure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.Safety and Compliance:
Ensures the workplace meets health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, DHEC, EPA, etc.), and implements emergency procedures.Operational Oversight:
Manages cleaning, security, parking, and other facility services to maintain a functional and welcoming environment.Space and Resource Management:
Allocates office or facility space efficiently, optimizes equipment use, and plans for future facility needs.Financial Planning:
Monitors budgets, analyzes costs, and identifies opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.Hiring and Retention:
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and retaining top talent, building high-performing teams, and maintaining a positive work environment.- Serves as the lead on internal electrical engineering projects.
- Responsible for developing pricing, schematics, drawings, and diagrams for electrical elements for both customer and internal projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess degree in Engineering/technical discipline (Electrical preferred) or have 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing engineering environment.
- Previous facility and maintenance management experience in manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and people management skills to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendors effectively.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address facility issues promptly.
- Project management expertise including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures, manufacturing quality, and product development.
- Maintain a high attention to detail.
- Must be a team player and work with multiple teams & individuals throughout the day.
