This position ensures the efficient rental of storage units and moving equipment, maintains compliance with company policies and applicable laws, oversees property inspections, and provides a clean, safe, and professional environment for customers. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service expertise, and the ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities independently. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Assist customers with selecting and renting storage units and moving equipment. Explain rental agreements, policies, fees, and facility rules to customers. Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and electronically. Maintain professional customer relationships and resolve customer concerns. Storage Rental Administration Prepare, execute, and process storage rental contracts and related documentation. Collect and process payments, deposits, and fees. Maintain accurate customer records and account information. Ensure all contracts and documentation comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. U-Haul & Vehicle Rental Operations Prepare, execute, and process storage moving truck rental contracts and related documentation. Complete vehicle check-in and check-out inspections. Process rental agreements, mileage records, fuel documentation, and payment transactions. Clean, organize, and prepare rental vehicles for customer use. Move, stage, and organize vehicles throughout the property as needed. Property Operations & Maintenance Conduct daily inspections of the storage facility and grounds. Monitor facility security, safety, and cleanliness standards. Clean and prepare vacated storage units for new tenants. Identify maintenance issues and report or address them as appropriate. Enforce facility policies and lease agreement requirements. Compliance & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate operational records and reports. Ensure adherence to company procedures and legal requirements. Safeguard confidential customer and business information. Support audits, inspections, and administrative reviews as required. Facility Cleaning & Housekeeping Perform daily cleaning of common areas within the salon facility. Maintain clean and welcoming customer-facing areas. Ensure restrooms, hallways, and shared spaces meet cleanliness standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service, retail, rental, property management, or administrative experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer and data entry proficiency. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Valid driver's license and ability to operate moving trucks safely. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to lift, move, and clean storage units and rental equipment as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate rental vehicles and facility equipment.
