Job Description
The Willis Law Group is seeking a skilled Facility Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll coordinate maintenance and repairs and ensure all property operations adhere to local and federal laws. We're looking for a team player with strong attention to detail who is comfortable committing to running our facilities smoothly. Facility Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the upkeep of properties and ensure tenant satisfaction. Overseeing and coordinating maintenance and inspections to comply with laws, codes, and company policies. This includes planning, scheduling, and managing general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects. Establishing and maintaining relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors. Verifying the property's legal compliance. City of Garland, City of Bedford, and City of Houston. Responsible for the upkeep and management of a company's buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. Inspecting facilities to ensure they meet safety regulations and the health and well-being of the workplace's occupants. Overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments, and managing building maintenance tasks like heating and air conditioning. Negotiating contracts with service providers and managing third-party contractors. Identifying areas that can make the building more efficient and cost-effective.Facility Manager Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years' experience working as a Facility Manager or in a similar position. Excellent skills in negotiation, problem-solving, multitasking, and stress management Proficiency with CMS and productivity software Knowledge of local and national regulations for property management Ability to travel and work an unpredictable schedule Communication and influencing skills. The ability to work with people from all backgrounds. Decision-making skills. Teamworking abilities Attention to detail Commercial awareness Time management skillsBenefits:
