Role:
A Facilities Management Consultant provides expert advisoryservices to help organizations evaluate, optimize, and maintain their physicalinfrastructure and building operations. They bridge the gap between day-to-daymaintenance and strategic business planning.
What You'll Do:
1.
Process & Workflow Assessment Current State Analysis:
Audit existing operational processes, space utilization, and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
Vendor & Contract Audits:
Review external vendor performance, cleaning/landscaping contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) for cost-effectiveness. 2.
Strategic Planning & Optimization Space Planning:
Design and recommend modifications to office, manufacturing, or commercial spaces to boost employee productivity and support future organizational growth.
Budget Forecasting:
Assist in developing long-term capital expenditure (CapEx) plans and operational budgets for building maintenance and technology upgrades. 3.
Ensure facilities meet all local, state, and federal building codes, fire safety, and health mandates.
Safety & Security Audits:
Implement risk mitigation strategies and protocols for emergency preparedness and site security. 4.
Sustainability & Technology Integration Energy Management:
Examine energy consumption patterns and recommend sustainability initiatives or retrofits to reduce carbon footprint and operating costs.
What You'll Need:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred or 3 to 5 years of related experience in building maintenance, property management, or project management is required.
Certifications:
Professional credentials enhance employability.
Key certifications include:
FMP (Facility Management Professional) CFM (Certified Facility Manager) SFP (Sustainability Facility Professional) Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset As a Supervisor /
