Job Description:
Job Description - The Facilities Manager will be the primary contact for all property related issues for the Facility employees and subtenants. This position will manage to accomplish those requests via coordination and/or interface with Facilities Management, Design & Construction, Engineering & Maintenance, and property managers, landlord, and service contract provider as appropriate. The Facilities Manager will provide facilities management support to both owned and leased properties outside of the main facility.
Responsibilities:
Property Operations Own day-to-day facilities operations across assigned properties Respond to tenant service requests quickly and resolve issues with a high level of accountability Conduct routine property inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs Maintain strong property conditions with a focus on safety, functionality, and curb appeal Maintenance & Repairs Perform and/or coordinate general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems Diagnose issues, troubleshoot in the field, and execute repairs efficiently Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs to reduce recurring issues Light Construction & Project Execution Perform and support light construction work including tenant improvements, repairs, and small capital projects Coordinate scopes, materials, and timelines to ensure efficient execution Work alongside or manage vendors to complete projects to BPPM standards Vendor Management Source, schedule, and oversee third-party vendors as needed Hold vendors accountable to scope, quality, and cost expectations Step in to self-perform work when appropriate to drive efficiency Systems & Reporting Manage work orders, updates, and documentation within company systems Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed and property conditions Communicate regularly with property management on priorities, issues, and project status Safety & Compliance Follow and enforce all safety procedures and operational standards Ensure properties are maintained in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Requirements :
10 years of related facilities management, building maintenance experience working with multiple sites. Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently in the field Excellent customer service skills and ability to complete projects timely and with high quality - we need a Construction Project Manager with excellent follow through! Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize as necessary and leverage resources throughout the organization. Exceptional problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Education Bachelor's degree Compensation $90K - $95K/yrly
