Job Description

Job Summary Rapido Truck Parts is expanding into Odessa, Texas with a new heavy-duty truck parts facility serving the rapidly growing Permian Basin market. Odessa continues to experience strong growth across oilfield, transportation, fleet service, and heavy equipment industries, creating increasing demand for dependable truck parts distribution and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the development, launch, and ongoing operations of our new Odessa location. This position reports directly to the CEO and will play a critical role in building the facility, systems, team, and operational structure from the ground up.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Operations & New Facility Development will lead all phases of the Odessa startup operation, including warehouse design, inventory systems, vendor management, staffing, operational planning, and facility launch readiness. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience in heavy-duty truck parts, industrial distribution, warehouse operations, and startup facility development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead facility startup from construction phase through operational launch Design warehouse flow, inventory layout, shipping, receiving, and logistics systems Implement POS, ERP, and inventory tracking systems Develop inventory control procedures, cycle counts, and KPI reporting Manage vendor relationships, purchasing strategies, and freight coordination Recruit, hire, train, and lead warehouse, operations, and support staff Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational expense management Build scalable systems to support long-term growth and profitability Provide operational leadership and strategic reporting directly to the
CEO REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience in:  Heavy-duty truck parts  Warehouse operations  Industrial distribution  Fleet parts management  Oilfield supply operations Experience launching or scaling warehouse/distribution facilities Strong inventory management and POS/ERP systems experience Proven leadership, recruiting, and team development experience Strong financial, operational, and organizational skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Permian Basin market experience Heavy-duty truck, trailer, fleet, or oilfield parts background Multi-location operations experience Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Warehouse management software and facility startup experience
