Location/Division-Specific Information:
Richardson, TX. Relocation assistance is NOT provided. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screen. A Day in theLife:
Oversee facility operations and maintenance activities with a focus on ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and operational excellence. Implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining GMP standards and supporting manufacturing operations. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure reliable facility operations and minimal disruption to production activities. Provides technical EHS support for site objectives. Lead the site's Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and initiatives. Actively participate in reviews for new projects/ processes and modifications to existing projects/processes, and recommend improvements. Develops and implements EHS Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develops and implements EHS Training to ensure employee awareness and proficiency. Coordinate and perform risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and recommend controls for workplace safety and health hazards; assessments include personal protective equipment, ergonomics, noise, ventilation, heat stress, and indoor air quality. Facilitate site EH&S audits (clients, state and federal regulatory agencies, insurance companies, etc.) and follow up on corrective actions. Report EH&S Metrics as required. Work with Environmental to implement site environmental programs, regulatory reporting, and recordkeeping. Keys toSuccess:
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental, preferably in a GMP/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, required. Additional certifications in facilities systems, safety procedures, or trade specializations are beneficial. Proficiency in building management systems (BMS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Experience with regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, cGMP) and quality systems. Project management skills and budget oversight capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Emergency response capabilities and on-call rotation availability. Effective communication and team leadership skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and facility management software. Experience managing contractor relationships and service agreements. Safety program implementation and compliance expertise. Physical ability to perform inspections and respond to facility issues.Benefits:
