Facilities Manager Salt Lake City + South Main | $65,000

Behind the scenes, operational excellence and attention to detail are what make the member experience shine. About the Role As Facilities Manager, you'll lead handson maintenance and facility operations across our Salt Lake City and South Main locations. This is a workingmanager role that blends technical expertise with leadership, planning, and preventative care. You'll oversee systems, people, and processes that keep our spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
Pay range:
$65,000
  • 70,000 DOE Reports to: General Managers What You'll Do Lead and manage the Facilities Department across both locations Perform and oversee maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, IT, and security systems Maintain gym infrastructure, including swamp coolers, natural gas heaters, and fitness equipment Build and execute preventative maintenance schedules using company tools and software Train, supervise, and support facilities staff with a strong focus on safety and efficiency Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects Conduct regular facility inspections and proactively resolve issues Keep detailed logs of inspections, repairs, and improvements Enforce SOPs for cleaning, maintenance, and facility operations Manage seasonal needs like winterization, snow removal, and temperature control Respond to urgent maintenance issues, including occasional afterhours needs What You Bring You'll likely thrive in this role if you: Have 5+ years of professional experience , including at least 3 years in facilities maintenance and 1-2 years in a leadership role Are skilled in general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and troubleshooting Have experience with fitness equipment maintenance (a plus) Stay calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, vendors, and members Are organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently Are flexible with nights, weekends, and oncall needs when emergencies arise Hold a valid driver's license Can regularly lift 50 lbs.
