About the role:
The Facilities Assistant helps maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and day-to-day readiness of Club facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping facilities looking their best, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the Club. The Facilities Assistant works closely with, and reports to, the Maintenance Manager and the General Manager to help ensure that members enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Assistant Blow off tennis courts, walkways, patios, and other Club surfaces. Assist with daily and general property upkeep. Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the property. Assist in maintaining a clean Club environment. Support event and general facility readiness. Support the Maintenance Manager with coordination of daily maintenance activities across all club facilities under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Carry out maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager, including minor repairs, groundskeeping, equipment servicing, and other duties as needed. Conduct inspections alongside the Maintenance Manager to assess the condition of the facilities and identify maintenance needs. Maintain organized storage areas, maintenance spaces, equipment, and supplies, while monitoring inventory levels and communicating supply needs to the Maintenance Manager. Assist with setup and breakdown of Club events. Support weekend and holiday events as needed. Complete basic repairs and maintenance projects under direction. Assist with painting, pressure washing, cleaning, and similar projects. Report maintenance concerns and safety issues to management. Assist departments throughout the Club as operational needs arise. Operate Club equipment safely and responsibly.
Candidate requirements:
Reliable and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and follow direction. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Previous maintenance, landscaping, facilities, construction, or related experience is helpful but not required.

The Facilities Assistant should align with the Club's values, mission, and culture, and demonstrate a genuine interest in contributing to its success and community. Must be able to work safely around members, guests, and staff. Flexibility is important, as responsibilities may vary based on operational needs and seasonal demands. Teamwork and willingness to assist outside primary responsibilities are essential.
Work Schedule Expectations:
Flexible scheduling available Typical shifts occur during daytime hours Weekend, after-hours, and holiday availability may be required, at times, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Provide support for event setup, execution, and breakdown, collaborating with event managers and staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout all stages of the event, including weekends and holidays when events may occur.
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
