Job Description

Who We Are Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 15 locations across six states. Offering the very highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, our services span every level of care - including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is both JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. Yet despite our excellence, our greatest strength remains the staff we cull from across the nation. This is a very part-time position doing oversight and signing off on providers' notes. What You'll Do Follow all Avenues established medical care protocols, working closely with medical team. Oversee medical monitoring and medication management for duration of clients' stay in treatment. See patients on sporadic basis to address concerns raised by medical team. Perform any medical interventions as necessary. Address any urgent medical needs so as to enable clients to prioritize recovery. Communicate and collaborate with extended treatment team to ensure seamless coordination of care. Accurately and comprehensively document all medical care and interventions in
KIPU EMR.
Adhere to all treatment timelines and maintain an efficient appointment schedule. What We're Looking For Virginia State Board of Medicine licensed physician DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances Specialization in addiction medicine preferred Adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards Knowledge of and compliance with Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs regulations Collaborative work with other healthcare professionals Continuous professional development through CME Experience in SUD treatment settings desired Why Join Us?
