Job Description
Randstad is in need of an experienced Facilities Manager for a Client site in Sandston, VA. This is a direct hire position; M-F; ranging from $101k-$119k. The ideal candidate has experience in leading a facility, be responsible for merging high-level strategic planning with day-to-day supply chain execution. This role acts as a Culture Champion, fostering an environment of safety, diversity, and ownership while ensuring the facility meets rigorous productivity and financial goals. Have at least a Bachelor's degree, be able to sit or stand for extended periods while working on operational tasks or attending meetings, occasionally required to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and regular use of a computer and other office equipment, requiring hand and wrist motions.
Oversee all facility operations, including inventory control, warehouse capacity optimization, and truck transportation loss control.
Manage all financial aspects, including approving/tracking expenses against budgets and analyzing business reports to drive cost control.
Partner with HR to boost employee morale; oversee the hiring, coaching, and development of both Area Managers and frontline associates.
Ensure facility-wide compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirementsInterface with IT on systems refinement (WMS/ERP) and maintain professional relationships with customers and key suppliers.
