Job Description

Truestone is looking for a Facilities Manager to work in Sterling, VA. Provides site oversight and liaises with client representatives to ensure site is properly furnished, landlord building systems are functioning as designed, and engages vendors and landlord staffs for repairs and renovations. Performs own work and participates in a variety of client facing administrative and clerical work. Takes lead role at reception desk. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
  • Responsibilities
  • + Responsible for the day-to-day management of the client's site, providing quality assurance and daily management of all site processes, ensures workspaces meet health and safety standards.
+ Acts as site liaison for all program issues on behalf of the Company. + Manages the site operational & maintenance contracts. + Submits work orders to the building engineers to resolve facility issues IAW landlord processes. + Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness for all site contractor services. + Evaluates site conditions and determines the need for repairs and renovations. + Supervises and coordinates site repairs and renovations (after hours as required) with landlord and vendors. + As needed, may serve as the Lead Project Manager for larger scale work. + Generates requests for proposals and quotes for equipment, services, and supplies from Value Added Resellers and other commercial vendors. + Purchases client requested supplies and equipment. + Coordinates and/or acts as a liaison between client and other agencies, organizations, and suppliers. + Ensures all service complied with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines. + Researches and analyzes vendor contracts and service plans to review warrantees and determine billing. + Interacts with Company back office Shared Services staff to ensure accurate client invoicing and project accounting. + Develops and implements property management operating procedures (inventory, procurement, procedures, etc.) as needed and provides oversite of same. + Briefs client on project status, to include issues, deliverables, milestones, and resource planning. + Oversees physical security systems and visitor screening processes.
  • Qualifications
  • + 7-12 years' experience in Facility Management and/or Property Management. + Leadership roles involving facility management, physical security, procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, budgeting, and contract quality assurance. + Understanding and basic proficiency of facility environmental management systems. + Facilities Project Management experience.
