Job Description

Job Title:
Facilities Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a highly functional Facilities Supervisor who is an organized self-starter, capable of learning quickly and working autonomously. This individual will be skillful at prioritizing and juggling multiple demands simultaneously and will have a thorough understanding of all roles within the Facilities Department, as well as knowledge of the properties and equipment used. A successful Facilities Supervisor will have a positive, polished presence with a strong work ethic and be a resourceful, motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Responsibilities Provide administrative support in research, report preparation, budget analysis, and staff communications. Ensure each property's signage, presentation, and communication is branded to specifications. Partner with the Facilities leadership team in executing special projects. Represent the Facilities Department in regular company meetings. Issue and order uniforms and equipment as needed, within budget constraints. Contract services in consultation with Facilities leadership. Reconcile spending, budget, and invoices. Update training documents and manage certifications to ensure compliance with safety practices. Maintain departmental calendars. Assist in scheduling, communicating, and reviewing contracted services. Ensure vendors meet performance expectations and assist in regular reviews. Monitor and edit timecards/punches to ensure accurate labor allocations. Approve payroll at the end of each pay period. Foster positive relations across a diverse intersection of colleagues, residents, guests, and tenants. Essential Skills Proficient in English and effective communication of concepts and instructions. Superb organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Products, Adobe, and internet navigation. Ability to learn company software platforms, such as Building Engines, ADP, and MRI. Sound mathematical and accounting skills for staffing, purchasing, and budgetary decisions. Ability to perform basic research and prepare reports and recommendations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to organize work, coordinate projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong emotional intelligence in interpersonal interactions, exhibiting sensitivity, tact, and professionalism. Why Work Here?
