We are seeking a Facilities Strategic Planning Manager to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization, leading a team of strategic planners located in Everett, Washington. Our Strategic Planning team partners with multiple organizations within Boeing, to include Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Global Services (BGS), and our Corporate Enterprise functions. This role involves effective leadership, collaboration & relationship management with stakeholders across these multiple organizations.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning; collaboration and integration with our facilities teams to include analysts, project & property administrators, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and plant & equipment maintenance Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers Manages, leads, coaches, develops and motivates employees To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership." 3+ years of experience developing strategic long range business plans 3+ years of experience developing & delivering presentations to senior leaders Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience leading or managing a team 3+ years of experience with real estate project management 3+ years of experience in occupancy and space planning 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance

Summary pay range:
