Job Description
Job Overview Capital Recovery Center is a behavioral health agency dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered support for individuals living with mental illness and substance use challenges. We are seeking a reliable, empathetic, and detail-oriented Facilities Specialist to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of maintaining not only the physical safety and cleanliness of the facility but also the emotional well-being of those who use our services. What you'll do Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas Empty trash bins and replace liners Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) Report maintenance issues or safety hazards Follow safety and sanitation protocols Operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or vacuums Experience Attention to detail and reliability Ability to follow instructions and work independently Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling No formal education required; prior cleaning experience preferred
